Her journey with the bank began as a Clerk cum Typist, and over the years, various roles were excelled in by her, and the lives of countless colleagues and customers were touched. Tireless efforts were made, professionalism was exhibited, and a warm smile was shared, making a lasting impact on the organization, which will be deeply felt as her absence is felt.
It is recalled that remarkable service was rendered by her in various branches, including Annanagar, Chetput, Jayanagar, Bangalore, Ashoknagar, Velachery, and many more. Invaluable contributions were made by her to the Legal Dept, HR Dept, and Services Dept, and her expertise has been noted and will be remembered for years to come.

Com. Johnson Antony Plappallil, a disciplined and sincere comrade, joined as a Single Window Operator (SWO) at the Madur branch of the erstwhile Corporation Bank in January 2007. He later became a Head Cashier at the amalgamated Union Bank of India. With a distinguished background as a Navy personnel, he brings a wealth of experience to his role. During his Navy tenure, Com. Johnson had the opportunity to work in various locations, including the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Visakhapatnam, broadening his perspective and honing his skills.
Com. Johnson has excelled in all roles assigned to him throughout his 18-year career and is retiring on October 31, 2025. His wife works as a Chief Manager (Engineer) at Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), and they have two sons – the elder one is a software engineer, and the younger one is studying in Hyderabad. Colleagues appreciate Com. Johnson’s demeanor and dedication to his work.
